The final episode of Trueblood airs on September 13! I can't wait! Somebody is going to get sacrificed and my best guess is Sam, but with the Trueblood Series, nothing is as it seems. I have many questions, especially about that egg in a nest on top of Sookie's bed. What is inside of that thing? Will it ever hatch? How did it even get there? What's going to happen to MaryAnn? I wonder if the God Who Comes will actually make an appearance. I have no idea how they are going to answer all these questions in just one final episode. I will just have to hold in all my excitement until that Sunday. Don't miss it!!!

BILL vs. ERIC

It's Bill against Eric in the battle for Sookie. At the beginning of this battle, I thought Eric had the advantage. First of all, he's older and stronger than Bill. Second, he is the sheriff of Area 9, which means he has all the authority and power over Bill. Third, he is devious and smart enough to find a way to get Sookie closer to him, which he has by tricking her into drinking his blood-causing unwanted sexual attraction for him. Fourth, most beings think he's extremely good-looking. Now, the tables have turned and Bill has the advantage. Bill has received information that Eric is selling V, aka. vampire blood, to humans, through Lafayette. We haven't yet discovered Eric's motive, but I'm sure the money is part of the reason. Bill's threat to tattle-tale to the Queen might keep Eric on his toes, but his craving for Sookie can only cause him to try harder. Or try a different tactic.

Episode 23 Update

In this past episode, everything seems to be tying together. Although, not much was clarified, the whole purpose is for you to speculate about what will happen. We did learn a few things though, like how to kill MaryAnn, what the purpose of her ritual is, and what kinds of things she plans on sacrificing. We know she was after Sam, but now that she has learned that Sookie is a rare supernatural being, will she sacrifice her instead? And what will the others do to defeat MaryAnn? The Queen of Louisiana gave Bill some valuable information on the meanad, but is it truly enough to defeat her? After all, no one expected to see a gaint egg at the end of the episode. I don't recall the Queen mentioning that to Bill. What will come out of that egg? And did Eggs and Tara lay it??? I hope they explain it all in the next episode, but I have the feeling that it may end with a cliff-hanger again.

Episode 22 Outline

Sookie walks along the hallway, towards Eric's room. When she enters the room, she sees that Eric has tears of blood all over his face and goes to comfort him. Eric begins kissing her and then his fangs pop out. Eric is about to bite into her neck, when all of a sudden Sookie snaps out of her daydream. Clearly, the blood has taken it's toll. Sookie and Jason arrive at Bon Temps with Bill(who is in a coffin in the backseat of the car). The entire town is thrashed and abundant with crazy, giggling, back-eyed people. Their car accidentally hits 2 people, but they get up, laughing, and scurry away. First stop- Bill's House, where Hoyt's possessed mother is bothering her son and Jessica about their relationship. To get her to relax, they let her play the Wii game, but it doesn't work. Jason decides to try and save his town and go to Merlotte's where a mob led by a black-eyed version of Terry is currently holding Sam and Andy Bellefluer in a freezer. Bill and Sookie decide to go to Sookie's house to find Tara. Tara is with her cousin, Lafayette and her mother at this time. Unfortunately, Tara also has black eyes and a bad attitude. The two of them are trying everything they can think of to make her normal again, but everything ends in failure. Over at Bill's, Jessica is fed up with Hoyt's mom because she continuously insults both her and Hoyt. Since Jessica hasn't fed in a while, she can't control herself and ends up biting Hoyt's mother. When Bill and Sookie exit the car in front of Sookie's house, what they see suprises them. On her lawn is a giant sculpture of rotting meat, fruit, and who knows what else. They step inside the house, only to see it full of twigs, candles, dirt, etc. Lafayette calls Sookie's cell phone and tells her to get out of there and that Tara is with him. They are about to leave when MaryAnn appears behind them. She grabs Sookie by the throat and Sookie realizes that it was MaryAnn who scratched her. Bill bites MaryAnn but vomits and foams at the mouth from drinking the black blood. MaryAnn goes for Sookie again, but Sookie pushes her using some magic force that she didn't know she had. Sookie helps Bill get to the the car and they drive to Lafayette's house. Bill starts healing after drinking some of Sookie's blood. Sookie manages to fix Tara after reading deep into her mind while Bill glamours her. Around this time, Jason manages to get the mob outside the bar and frees Sam and Andy, only to have the mob break in again. Sam offers himself hoping it will solve everything. The mob has taken Sam outside to be offered to the God, so with Andy's help, Jason uses road flares, lights, a gas mask, and a tree branch for horns to imitate the God Who Comes. The townspeople fall for the trick and Jason smites Sam, who really shape-shifts into a fly. The black-eyed people retreat to find MaryAnn and tell her the good news. Sam turns back into a human and tells the others he will explain what just happened later. Back at Lafayette's, Bill tells Sookie that he knows someone who might know how to defeat MaryAnn and that he must go right away to see her. Sookie agrees and Bill is quickly on his way to see the Queen of Louisiana.

Father, Brother, Son

Eric and Godric's connection was very close, but now that Godric has burned away, Eric will require someone to take his place. Even though at times Eric seems cold and heartless, just watching him cry over Godric proves that he has a heart and that now it is broken. If he remains in this sad, emotional state, it will be up to Sookie to give him warmth and compassion. With his blood in her viens, she is beginning to gain feelings for him that she never though she had. In future episodes, it is possible that their feelings will expand into something more.

Trueblood update episode 21

Currently on Trueblood......

So far Eric has been the same devious vampire we've known him to be but now he has created a stronger bond with Sookie against her will. I was quite suprised that he would go so far as to trick Sookie into sucking out the silver just so that she might become attracted to him. I used to think that he had no heart, no sense of love, but with his latest act of desperation, he must truly love Sookie. I am certain in the future episodes of Trueblood, Sookie and Eric will become very close. I am a little upset that Sookie and Sam do not have a romantic connection. What truly suprised me on this episode was the fact that Sam can turn into a fly. Does this mean he can turn into any type of bug? If I were him, I wouldn't stick around Bon Temps. At least not with MaryAnn and her entire posse of black-eyed citizens after me. So far the only one Sam can trust is Andy Bellefleur. Poor Sam. I am quite curious about what will happen with Tara and Eggs. During their bar fight with Lafayette, Eggs smacked Tara in the face by accident. Hopefully she will break up with him and dump MaryAnn, Eggs, and Carl (whatever happened to him?) out on the street. Horray Lafayette for standing up to MaryAnn and Eggs!!! It is so great that he is protecting his cousin and doing the right thing. I still dont get what it meant when Lafayette read the tarot cards for Tara. He told her that she must make a sacrifice of the heart and didnt get the chance to tell her that her future had something to do with justice. My best guess is that she is going to kill MaryAnn. We'll see..... ): I miss Godric! I hate that he commited suicide in this episode! I wanted them to continue on with his character but truthfully, I knew a 2,000 year old vampire couldnt have been captured by the fellowship. Sookie's kind-hearted side was shown to me when she stayed with Godric till the end. I wonder what will happen next............
